Antique Large Terracotta Jug
This hand-thrown antique jug dates back to the early 1900s and was originally used to store wine or olive oil. The terracotta vessel would have been in daily use up until the 1950s/60s, resulting in a charming piece with a unique patina from years of domestic use, that has aged perfectly over time. This Pugliese jug in a deep ochre brown has a wonderful spherical body, beautifully hand crafted spout and handle. Add some country charm and create an impactful display setting with the matching jug, as seen in the images.
