An antique terracotta planter that is typical of traditional plant pots found in Puglia. This one is rendered particularly unique by its vivacious sunflower yellow glaze radiating that Mediterranean glow. Dating back to the early 1900s, these large rectangular planters are usually found unglazed, and this one features an outer surface with a beautiful corrugated effect. The terracotta planter is unglazed internally and has two holes at the bottom for drainage. The hand thrown plant pot has that rustic charm and magic patina brought about authentically by the passing of time and exposure to the elements. It would be the perfect addition to any home, balcony, or other outdoor spaces - adding a splash of colour indoors or out. Create an impactful display with the matching planter as seen in the images.

Found in Ostuni

the charming hilltop town of the valle d’Itria known as the la città bianca (or ‘white city’).

Dimensions: H18cm x W42cm x D18cm

These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
