A large hanging plant pot with a unique hand decorated drip glaze pattern. This vintage hand thrown ceramic planter has a particular rippled cone shape, and metal chain for hanging. The mid-century piece has a glossy glaze with a mesmerising pattern in various hues of green, orange, blue and highlights of cream. The planter is typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and commonly associated with the Corund mark- traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, and found throughout the Mediterranean. The one of a kind plant pot would make a wonderful addition to any home, indoors or out, adding a pop of colour and pattern.
