A vintage mid-century galvanised metal watering urn that was used for spraying the vines in a Pugliese vineyard. The unique pastel blue patina is due to the reaction of the sulphur used in the spray, and adds to its perfectly-aged charm. Made by hand, this vessel is particularly unique due to the intact lid. The watering can has a lovely amphora-like form with asymmetrical handles, and a dignity and elegance that belies its very utilitarian purpose. Dating back to the mid 1900s, its characterful patina has evolved through daily use, exposure to the elements and the passing of time.
