A pair of vintage plates with a charmingly hand painted floral design. These mid-century design plates are typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and can be associated to the Corund mark, traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, and found throughout the Mediterranean. The vintage plates feature a unique floral and foliage design at the center and around the edges, in varying shades of green, blue and yellow, set against the cream base. The hand thrown pieces also feature a hole at the back as seen in the photos, enabling the plates to be wall mounted or hung for display. Also available with matching bowls, plates and jug, in various designs as seen in the images, that work well together and would create an impressive and eclectic table setting.

Found in Lecce

the capital and baroque jewel of the Salento.

Dimensions: All Plates H4cm x W17cm x D17cm

These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
