This antique and rare piece of terracotta pottery originates from the southern Italian region of Calabria. The one of a kind vase with its ‘camouflage’ glaze effect would have been originally used for holding wine, water or olive oil. What makes it truly original are the 3 handles with the potters finger indents running down both sides, highlighting its hand crafted quality. The wonderful colour combination of ochre brown, vivid green and mustard are set against an earthy ivory base. Today, it can be used as a vase for fresh flowers or as a decorative display piece to add impact to a space.
