A large solid antique copper pot beaten by hand with a lovely patina, and solid brass handles. Most likely used for cooking in the early to mid-1900s, the bottom base has a charcoal patina from fire use, whilst the upper rim and lid has been polished and developed the vivid green verdigris as seen in the images - showing the mix of materials it has been made from, as well as the history of its use. This statement pot has a beautifully individual texture and colouring mix that has evolved over time and is unique to this piece. It’s ideal as a statement plant pot or a great storage idea to have on display.
