This antique plant pot with its vivacious green glaze and hand decorated top edge is characteristic of the Puglia region. Originally this planter was part of a series that decorated a balcony of a noble palazzo, and only 2 remain, as seen in the images. This one being slightly darker in shade, the other a little lighter. The handmade planter is unglazed internally and has a hole at the bottom for drainage. The rustic plant pot would make a wonderful addition to any home, both indoors or outdoors, especially when paired with its matching pot.
