This antique ceramic bowl in a soft ivory glaze is made by Laveno (Società Ceramica Italiana). The centrepiece has an elevated pedestal, elegant spherical body, and stylised handles with leaf pattern relief which is reminiscent of antiquity. Today it would be ideal as a fruit bowl, or as a decorative display piece, adding drama to any table setting. It has the makers mark at the bottom as seen in the photos.
