Antique Mustard Half Glaze Jug

€145.00
Sold

This hand-thrown antique jug dates back to the early 1900s and was originally used to store olive oil. The uniquely shaped vessel would have been in daily use up until the 1950s/60s resulting in a charming patina from years of domestic use, that has aged perfectly over time. This Pugliese farmhouse-style decanter has a honey coloured mustard half glaze that gives way to the raw clay at its base. It features a wonderful spherical body, with a beautifully hand crafted handle that is a fluid extension of the spout. Add some country charm to your home or space and create an impactful display setting with the matching ceramic pots, as seen in the images.

Dimensions: H26cm x W23cm x D23cm
