Antique Pinched Spout Vase
Antique hand-thrown vase in a lovely iridescent pistachio glaze that is set against an ochre terracotta base. Found in the Martina Franca area and dating back to the late 1800s it was originally used for storing food like olives in olive oil, and with its ridged handles and hand pinched opening giving it a gothic elegance that sets it apart from other domestic, utility pieces of the region.
