Antique Pistachio Glaze Pot
This cylinder shaped terracotta pot with pistachio-coloured glaze and shape is very characteristic of the Salento. This rustic pot is internally glazed as it was originally used to preserve food - with the outer remaining naturally unglazed. The antique piece has been well loved and used in an Italian home for many years, and shows signs of wear that add to its charming character (as you can see in the photos) . Today, it makes a lovely decorative display piece, a vase for fresh flowers (best to use an internal liner if pouring water straight in) or as an indoor or outdoor planter.

Dimensions: H27.5cm x W23cm x D23cm
