Antique 4-handle pot made in the late 1800s, was originally used for storing food in olive oil. The rustic pot in a thick robust clay would have been in use up until the 1950s/60s. It features a distinctive top glaze on the 4 handles in a grassy green, as well as hand decorated banding around the body. Its textured patina gives it an abundance of character and naturally shows some charming signs of age. The elegantly proportioned pot is a beautiful and historic example, and would make a perfect decorative centre piece in any home.

Found in Ostuni

a charming hilltop town of the Valle d’Itria known as ‘la città bianca’ (or white city).

Dimensions: H32cm x W29cm x D29cm

These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
