An antique hand-thrown terracotta vase with a wonderful raw surface and unique shape and proportion. Dating back to the early 1900s, this perfectly formed vessel with its diamond shape features a faded speckled glaze in mossy greens and red ochre around the upper half. The glaze that has been gently eroded with the passing of time is set against the earthy terracotta base. Today, this rustic piece would be ideal as a vase for fresh flowers, or as a decorative display piece to inject some country charm into any home or space.

Found in Ostuni

the charming hilltop town of the valle d’Itria known as la città bianca (or ‘white city’).

Dimensions: H21cm x W25cm x D25cm

These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
