Antique Terracotta 3 Handle Amphora
An antique hand-thrown amphora with 3 handles and a beautifully formed body in terracotta. Originally these amphoras were used to keep wine or water fresh for farmers working the land on those long, hot summer days. This original piece dating back to the early 1900s, has a raw surface texture with glimpses of a partial glaze through its well-loved patina. These enchanting remnants of ochre glaze are testament to its years of daily use and add to its immense character. Today, the amphora can be used as a decorative display piece to add some farmhouse charm to any space.
