This wonderfully unique vase or jug called ‘cuccume’ in the neighbouring region of Calabria, were originally used as pots for storing food. With its distinctive two symmetrical handles, floral-shape opening, and spherical body, it has an organic surface which has eroded beautifully over time. Today, this large rustic piece would be ideal as a vase for fresh flowers or as a truly unique decorative display item.
