Large Vintage Green Drip Glaze Bowl
A large bowl with a hand decorated drip glaze pattern reminiscent of psychedelic ‘60s design. This vintage hand thrown bowl is typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and commonly associated with the Corund mark- traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, and found throughout the Mediterranean. The mid-century piece has a glossy top glaze with a mesmerising swirl design in in pistachio green, burnt orange, inky blue and highlights of cream. The large vintage bowl would make a wonderful addition to any table setting especially when paired with the matching bowls available online, as seen in the images.
Found in Lecce
the capital and baroque jewel of the Salento.
Dimensions: H12cm x W29cm x D29cm
These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
