A remarkable set of antique, rustic ceramic pots with their robust spherical body and unique handles which have the makers thumb prints that sealed the handles. Dating back to the early 1900s and originally used as confit pots (larger ceramic pot) and warming food like legumes (smaller terracotta pot), the years of domestic, family use have given it a special patina and aged characteristics. Their tonality of red add a lovely energy to the pieces. They would be ideal as decorative display pieces, and magical with fresh flowers. They do have some cracks on the body as seen in the images.
