A unique set of x2 hand thrown plates with floral motifs, each different from one another yet complementary. These hand painted vintage plates are typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and can be associated to the Corund mark, traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, and found throughout the Mediterranean. The mid-century ceramics have an expressive floral design in varying shades of blue, green, orange and ochre. They feature wall mounting holes as seen in the images, so they can create an impactful display. Also available with matching bowls and plates in various designs, that work well together and would create an eclectic table setting.

Found in Lecce

the capital and baroque jewel of the Salento.

Dimensions: Large Plate H4cm x W20cm x D20cm / Small Plate H4cm x W18.5cm x D18.5cm

These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
