Vintage Green Swirl Glaze Bowl
A unique bowl with a hand decorated drip glaze pattern reminiscent of psychedelic ‘60s design. This vintage bowl is typical of Eastern European ceramics (from the Austro-Hungarian legacy), and found throughout the Mediterranean. The mid-century ceramic bowl has an energetic linear design in varying shades of green and highlighted with blue, cream and orange. The vintage piece is stamped at the bottom with the Corund pottery mark - traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary. It would make a wonderful serving dish at aperitivo hour and would create an impactful table setting, especially when teamed with the other matching plates and bowls available online.
Found in Lecce
the capital and baroque jewel of the Salento.
Dimensions: H8cm x W19cm x D19cm
These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
