Vintage Hand Painted Large Floral Jug
A charming and unique vintage jug with a hand painted over size floral pattern. This hand thrown jug is typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and commonly associated with the Corund mark- traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, and found throughout the Mediterranean. The mid-century piece with its rounded form features an all over floral in washed out orange, blue and green, set against a creamy base. The vintage jug would make a wonderful addition to any table setting especially when paired with the matching ceramics as seen in the images.
