Vintage Hand Painted Vase by C.A.S. Vietri
This vintage vase, with small hole for drainage, has a distinctive hand painted all over motif and a vibrant turquoise green glaze. Created by C.A.S. (Ceramiche Artistica Solimene) from Vietri Italy, a small town on the Amalfi coast known for its age old ceramic tradition. This pot-bellied vase, is a typical shape of the Vietrese ceramic vases, with their unique hand painted decoration created by artists from all over Europe. The C.A.S. marking can be seen on the underside of the vase.
