A very unique hand thrown jug with a hand decorated drip glaze pattern reminiscent of psychedelic ‘60s design. This vintage jug is typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and commonly associated with the Corund mark- traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, and found throughout the Mediterranean. The mid-century piece with its pinched spout features a mesmerising swirl design in pastel green and blue, orange, taupe, ochre brown, and cream. The vintage jug would make a wonderful addition to any table setting especially when paired with the matching ceramics as seen in the images.

Found in Lecce

the capital and baroque jewel of the Salento.

Dimensions: H17.5cm x W17cm x D11cm

These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
