x2 Vintage Drip Glaze Bowls
A set of x2 stackable bowls with a hand decorated drip glaze pattern reminiscent of psychedelic ‘60s design. These hand thrown bowls are typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and commonly associated with the Corund mark- traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, and found throughout the Mediterranean. The mid-century ceramic bowls have a unique drip glaze design in ‘safari-esque’ pattern and colour combination - one bowl with dark brown against a buttermilk base, the other with brown and cream against a pistachio green base. They would make wonderful serving dishes at aperitivo hour and look just as chic stacked together. Create impact to your table setting with the matching sets and jug as seen in the images.
Found in Lecce
the baroque jewel and capital of the Salento.
Dimensions: H6.5cm x W16cm x D16cm
These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
