x2 Vintage Orange Drip Glaze Bowls
A unique set of x2 bowls with a hand decorated drip glaze pattern reminiscent of psychedelic ‘60s design. These vintage bowls are typical of Eastern European ceramics (from the Austro-Hungarian legacy), and found throughout the Mediterranean. The stackable set are most likely made by Corund - traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary. The mid-century ceramics have a mesmerising swirl design - one with pistachio green, milky cream and ochre brown, the other bowl with pastel green, inky blue and cream - set against the orange glaze base. They would make wonderful serving dishes at aperitivo hour and look just as chic stacked together. Create impact to your table setting with the matching sets as seen in the images.
Found in Lecce
the capital and baroque jewel of the Salento.
Dimensions: H6cm x W18cm x D18cm
These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
