x4 Vintage Stackable Swirl Glaze Bowls
A unique set of x4 bowls with a hand decorated drip glaze pattern reminiscent of psychedelic ‘60s design. These vintage bowls are typical of Eastern European ceramics (from the Austro-Hungarian legacy), and found throughout the Mediterranean. The mid-century ceramics have an energetic linear design in pastel green, orange, blue, cream and ochre. The stackable set are stamped at the bottom with the Corund pottery mark - traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary. Three of the vintage bowls also featured wall mountable holes at the back as seen in the image. They would make wonderful serving dishes at aperitivo hour and look just as chic stacked together.
Found in Lecce
the capital and baroque jewel of the Salento.
Dimensions: 3 Bowls H7cm x W17cm x D17cm / 1 Bowl H6.5cm x W16cm x D16cm
These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
