This large antique planter is a unique example of plant pots from Grottaglie, a town in southern Puglia known for its age old ceramic craft. The terracotta plant pot in a pistachio green glaze features a one of a kind handmade indented effect, highlighting the skill of the potter. Though dating back to the early 1900s, this undulating surface coupled with the darker drips, give the pot a very modern, abstract aesthetic. The large hand crafted planter is unglazed internally and has a hole at the bottom for drainage. The green glazed pot is a great size and would be ideal to add a splash of colour to any home or space, both indoors or outdoors. This charming plant pot would coordinate well with the other matching planters as featured in the images.
